Equal Angled Steel Bars

Angle steel is a length of steel that is ‘L’ shaped at a right angle (90 degrees perpendicular). The legs can be equal or unequal in terms of their angling. Steel angles are used for varying purposes in numerous industries, most commonly in framings, racks or brackets.
Equal angle steel beams possess incredible tensile strength and are known for being workable, high quality and with no risk of warping. As the name suggests, the lengths of both sides of the ‘L’ are equal, ensuring the angle symmetry and consistency.
WHEN TO USE EQUAL ANGLE BARS
Practically speaking, equal angle bars can be used for a variety of purposes; their most common uses are in plant and machinery depots, railway tracks and in naval vessels. They also make very robust support frames in smaller-scale building projects, and two adjoining walls in a corner.
When angle bars are used, they are either welded or fastened to the steel structure. The bar acts as a good reinforcement around the edges, therefore the structure can hold a greater load than without the angle bar.
