MAREX is connected to your needs and delivers UNP steel channel quickly both in standard and non-standard sizes.
UNP channel – normal U profile, with oblique edges.
It is used for various metal works, with applications both in civil and industrial areas.
USE OF UNP PROFILE:
For the U beam with oblique edges, we use the UNP listing, equivalent to the European UPN representation. In Europe, the U profile with UAP parallel edges is also used.
The steel UNP may be used in the construction of parking lots, warehouses and sports stadiums. The hot-rolled U profile is made of carbon steel and has applications in the field of construction and equipment. Usually, it is used for architectural structures. It may be welded or joined by other methods.
UNP channel are also used for edging or floor beams, one or paired in two, possibly reinforced with HEA profile.
If one desires the cutting of UNP channel to a certain size, these have to be cut without bending the ends and without visibly deforming the section. The rabbets resulting from cutting should not exceed 8 mm.
